Forty-eight cars on Nationwide preliminary entry list at Daytona

Forty-eight cars are on the preliminary entry list for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Subway Jalapeno 250, scheduled for Friday night at Daytona International Speedway.
Among the entries are 13 full-time Sprint Cup drivers: Dale Earnhardt Jr. (JR Motorsports), David Ragan (Roush Fenway Racing), Kasey Kahne (Braun Racing), Matt Kenseth (Roush Fenway), Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), Joey Logano (JGR), Clint Bowyer (Richard Childress Racing), Brian Vickers (Braun Racing), Kevin Harvick (Kevin Harvick Inc.), David Gilliland (Smith-Ganassi Racing), Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway), Joe Nemechek (Nemco Motorsports) and Michael Waltrip (Michael Waltrip Racing).
Drivers competing for full-time teams that have split the driving this season include Mike Wallace (JD Motorsports), Jeff Green (Day Enterprises Racing), Chase Austin (SK Motorsports), Robert Richardson (R3 Motorsports), Kerry Earnhardt (Rick Ware Racing), Scott Wimmer (Key Motorsports), Stanton Barrett (Rick Ware Racing), Mark Green (Jay Robinson Racing), Kevin Lepage (Means Racing), Matthew Carter (Specialty Racing) and Patrick Sheltra (MacDonald Motorsports).
Drivers will practice Thursday with the qualifying and the race set for Friday.

Jun 30, 2009 at 5:12 PMI guess we don't get Neuenberger this summer at Daytona ... the economy is actually that bad. Neuenberger lead the 2006 Busch race there in front of all the people which I thought was pretty cool.
