Kelly Bires, who had started the 2010 Nationwide Series season with JR Motorsports, will drive the No. 25 car for Team Rensi Motorsports on Friday in the Nationwide Series event at Richmond International Raceway.

Bires has seven starts this year, with a season-best seventh-place finish driving for JRM at Auto Club Speedway in California.

Raybestos will sponsor the car.

“It’s going to be a neat deal,” Bires said. “Richmond is a place that I enjoy going to and running at and a place where I’ve had some pretty good finishes. … We hope to run in a few more races through the end of the year. That’s the ultimate game plan, get some good solid finishes and be able to put up something we can sell for the future.”

Scott Zipadelli, who was crew chief for Bires at JTG Daugherty Racing in 2007 and 2008, will be crew chief for the car.
