There are 46 entries for the Nationwide Series Virginia 529 College Savings 250 on Friday at Richmond International Raceway.

Among the 10 Sprint Cup regulars entered are points leader Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) and his closest challenger, Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing), as well as Ryan Newman (Phoenix Racing), Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), Denny Hamlin (JGR), Clint Bowyer (Richard Childress Racing), Kevin Harvick (Kevin Harvick Inc.), Joe Nemechek (Nemco Motorsports), Elliott Sadler (JR Motorsports) and Paul Menard (Roush Fenway).

Competing in cars that have used a variety of drivers this year are Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (Roush Fenway), Aric Almirola (JR Motorsports), John Wes Townley (RAB Racing), Tayler Malsam (Braun Racing), Erik Darnell (Roush Fenway), Coleman Pressley (R3 Motorsports), Parker Kligerman (K-Automotive Motorsports), Hermie Sadler (Baker Curb Racing), Reed Sorenson (Braun), and Shelby Howard (ML Motorsports),

Also entered is Michael Waltrip Racing driver Ryan Truex in an MWR car, Kelly Bires in a second Team Rensi Motorsports car and Jeff Green in a second TriStar Motorsports car.

This will be the third race for the new Nationwide Series car.
