CONCORD, N.C. – Roush Fenway Racing’s Carl Edwards led the final NASCAR Nationwide Series test session at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Tuesday night.
Edwards, who is third in the series standings, led the field with a top lap of 182.701 mph. He was followed by Gillett Evernham Motorsports' Chase Miller with a fast lap of 181.159. Gillett Evernham’s Kasey Kahne, CJM Racing’s Jason Keller and Edwards in his second car followed. The next five speeds belonged to Roush Fenway’s David Ragan, Phoenix Racing’s Mike Bliss, Richard Childress Racing’s Clint Bowyer, Braun Racing’s Brian Vickers and Braun’s Jason Leffler.
The session concluded the series two-day test at the track in preparation for the May 24 Carquest Auto Parts 300 at Lowe’s. This was
the final Nationwide Series test session at a track the teams race on during the 2008 season.
