Braun Racing's Jason Leffler paces final Nationwide practice at Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. - Braun Racing’s Jason Leffler paced the final NASCAR Nationwide Series practice Friday in preparation for tonight's Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

Leffler, who is currently fourth in the series standings, turned a lap of 124.896 mph, while Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin was second fastest with a speed of 124.780 mph.

Rounding out the top five were Martin Truex Jr. (Phoenix Racing), Brad Keselowski (JR Motorsports) and Kevin Harvick (Kevin Harvick Inc.).

Sixth through 10th were Trevor Bayne (CJM Racing), Scott Speed (Michael Waltrip Racing), David Reutimann (Braun Racing), Clint Bowyer (Richard Childress Racing) and Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing).

There were no incidents during the session.

Nationwide qualifying is slated for 4:05 p.m. EDT today and the race is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
