Brad Keselowski on Nationwide pole at Bristol
BRISTOL, Tenn. – Penske Racing’s Brad Keselowski won the Nationwide Series pole for the Scotts Turf Builder 300 on Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Keselowski turned a lap of 124.557 mph, followed by Joe Gibbs Racing’s Joey Logano (124.476) and JR Motorsports Kelly Bires (124.371 mph).
The drivers who made it in on speed were Greg Biffle (Baker Curb Racing), Shelby Howard (ML Motorsports), Danny O’Quinn (D’Hondt Humphrey Motorsports), Willie Allen (Day Enterprises Racing), Kevin Lepage (MacHill Motorsports), Brian Scott (Braun Racing), Andy Ponstein (Corrie Stott Racing), Paul Menard (Roush Fenway Racing), David Gilliland (D’Hondt Humphrey), Johnny Chapman (K-Automotive Motorsports), Morgan Shepherd (Faith Motorsports), Jason Keller (TriStar Motorsports) and Derrike Cope (Stratus Racing Group).
Missing the race were Dennis Setzer (K-Automotive), Mark Green (Jay Robinson), Scott Riggs (RAB Racing), Jason Bowles (Go Green Racing), Brad Teague (JD Motorsports), Parker Kligerman (Team 42 Racing) and Chris Lawson (Means Racing).
The race is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. EDT today.
