MADISON, Ill. - Phoenix Racing's Mike Bliss led the final NASCAR Nationwide Series practice at Gateway International Raceway Friday.
Bliss paced the field with a lap of 134.228 mph. Roush Fenway Racing's David Ragan was second fastest, followed by teammate Carl Edwards. Defending race winner Reed Sorenson posted the fourth-fastest lap in his Chip Ganassi Racing Dodge. Michael Waltrip Racing's David Reutimann was fifth.
Braun Racing's Jason Leffler, Roush Fenway's Jamie McMurray, Rusty Wallace Racing's David Stremme, Germain Racing's Mike Wallace and RWR's Steve Wallace rounded out the top 10.
Qualifying for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. EDT on Saturday, with the race slated to begin at 9:30.
