51 teams on preliminary entry list for first Nationwide race at Iowa Speedway
Fifty-one NASCAR Nationwide Series teams are on the preliminary entry list for the series debut race at Iowa Speedway.
Points leader Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), Kevin Harvick Inc.'s Kevin Harvick, Roush Fenway Racing's Carl Edwards, Front Row Motorsports' Tony Raines and JD Motorsports' Mike Wallace are the only drivers scheduled to be attempting to make both the Nationwide and Cup races this weekend.
Some notable part-time and new drivers are scheduled to attempt to make the field for the U.S. Cellular 250.
Among others appearing as part of limited schedules are: Austin Dillon (No. 2 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet), Kelly Bires (No. 10 Braun Racing Toyota), Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (No. 16 Roush Fenway Racing Ford), Erik Darnell (No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford), Brad Coleman (No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota), Stephen Leicht (No. 29 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet), Coleman Pressley (No. 47 JTG Daugherty Racing Toyota), Matthew Carter (No. 61 Specialty Racing Ford), Benny Gordon (No. 72 Benny Gordon Racing Ford), Kevin Lepage (No. 73 Cope/Keller Racing Dodge), Peyton Sellers (No. 77 Cardinal Motorsports Chevrolet), Dennis Setzer (No. 96 K Automotive Chevrolet) and Trevor Bayne (No. 99 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota).
Practices begin Thursday at 1:30 p.m. EDT with a six-hour test session. Qualifying is Saturday at 1:05 p.m. with the race slated to begin at 4:30.
