Skinner scores truck pole at Michigan

BROOKLYN, Mich. - Bill Davis Racing's Mike Skinner won the pole for today's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

Skinner, who ran a lap of 174.944 mph in Saturday morning's qualifying session, was followed by Kevin Harvick Inc.'s Jack Sprague at 174.940 and Germain Racing's Todd Bodine at 174.936.

MRD Motorsports' Chad McCumbee and BDR's Scott Speed completed the top five.

Billy Ballew Motorsports' Kyle Busch, Germain's Justin Marks, BDR's Johnny Benson, KHI's Ron Hornaday and Roush Fenway Racing's Bobby East rounded out the top 10.
