BROOKLYN, Mich. – Dale Earnhardt Jr. played the fuel-mileage game and won. And he snapped a 76-race winless streak in the process.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - It didn't take Dale Earnhardt Jr. long to return to the winners circle. A little more than 90 minutes, to be exact.

Earnhardt Jr.: 'I will be sad for my dad'

HOMESTEAD, Fla. - As Dale Earnhardt Jr. prepares to embark on the final race of his career at Dale Earnhardt Inc. and leave behind the company his father built, he was feeling a bit sad despite what awaits him at Hendrick Motorsports.

    I don't know what is going on with the nascar officials. Anyone in their right minds can see that kyle Busch did that intentionally. JR was going to pass kyle for the win and Busch knew that and intentionally ran into JR.

    Dale Jr is not overrated. He is not riding on his fathers shirtales. Let me ask you how many races has he won since his dad passed. You are just jealous your driver cannot compete with his popularity.

    A WIN to be proud of. HMS is at the top of their game. Johnson wins a fuel mileage race, as does Junior with a pass of the pace car. That was illegal wasn't it? Nice!!

    So glad I was at Michigan to see Jr win. The grandstands nearly came down when he crossed the finish line.Thanks to all his crew in the pits before the race, and for the lug nut off his car. All were true gentelmen.keep up the good work.Go 88
