With the championship all but decided, do you need a reason to watch Sunday's Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway? How about the likelihood that a Ford will win a race – a rather odd happening this season.
With the weekend carrying the Ford Championship Weekend label, it would seem a good time for the Blue Oval to come through. And, as it happens, exactly that has happened at Homestead for the past five years.
Greg Biffle won three straight Homestead races in Fords, followed by victories by Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards.
A Ford victory would take just a bit of shine off what is certain to be a Chevrolet championship Sunday.
