Forget the Carl Edwards-Brad Keselowski feud. It’s old news.

There’s a new feud brewing in the garage – or an old one being revived.

Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick traded angry, ugly words Friday, displaying once again their intense dislike for each other. A dislike so deep it borders on hatred. A dislike so deep it could be the next rivalry that spills over onto the race track.

Harvick, as usual, started it this week when he called Edwards’ "fake." He reiterated it Friday, saying, “You can’t be the nice guy and be the bad guy and be the bully.”

Edwards fired back when he learned of Harvick’s comments.

“I have absolutely no respect for Kevin Harvick,” he said. “I think he’s a bad person. That’s my opinion. I’ve told him that. We’ve had our deal before and his actions through that interaction were so devious and underhanded and cowardly that, it’s like, I just have no respect for him.”

Edwards and Harvick had a ugly confrontation two years ago at Charlotte that ended with crewmen separating the two after Edwards grabbed Harvick by the throat.

Now the two are at it again, publicly displaying their ill feelings toward each other.

How long before those feelings are demonstrated on the race track?
