That Joey Logano sure is one happy camper

July 2 2009

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie Joey Logano and his happy-go-lucky attitude are a breath of fresh air this season.

Logano's infectious smile hasn't waned a bit, and it was on full display last Sunday as the 19-year-old Connecticut native became the youngest driver in NASCAR history to win a Cup race with his victory in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Even though it was a rain-shortened race at the 1.058-mile track, the weather certainly couldn't dampen Logano's spirits inside a makeshift victory lane in the track's garage area, as he posed for a photo holding a gigantic lobster.

Logano has struggled considerably this season in Sprint Cup, but through it all, he continues to smile and be as upbeat as he can be. There is possibly no other recent rookie who comes to mind who has been as happy as Logano in his own skin, and that's something all of us can learn from.

I just finished watching watching the camping world east race where Patrick long [ford] spun logano on the last lap at sonoma and long was DISQUALIFIED for rough driving. man what a farce asscar pulled on this one. did these dumb asses forget that the same thing only worse happened at talladega just a few weeks ago? oh my god that was a Chevy wasn't it this is a Toyota my mistake now that Chevy is going broke they have to get their money somewhere else and ford has already shown that they aren't going to buy their races. asscar you surly have more sense then to use such poor judgement!!!!! its only a wonder they didn't find a way to disqualify his teammate. no wonder SLICED [WONDER] BREAD has a smile on his face
