Mark Martin good for Hendrick Motorsports, NASCAR

May 6 2009

It's good see that Mark Martin is sticking around for another full NASCAR Sprint Cup season at Hendrick Motorsports.

It doesn't matter if Martin is 50 years old, either. He's got the physique of a 25-year-old man, and I'd put his talent up against anybody in the sport today.

Age certainly doesn't appear to matter to Martin's boss, Rick Hendrick. Who knows, maybe Martin will be around until he’s 60, and that's just fine by me.

That would be fine by me too! I hope he keeps the same sponsor for 2010. That way I can spend more of my money on race tickets instead of new die cast cars and shirts! Whatever it takes, I am in it for the long haul. Thanks Mark for earning the right to let me be your fan for another full year.
